How can I run a batch file in the background in XP Pro, instead of in a window ?
    Thanks for the help :)

    :) Create a VBS script like :)

There you see the specified batch file in "i:\temp\test.bat". Save this like TEST.VBS

    :) ..... or create a VBS script like :)

Now you will run such a TEST.VBS with an argument
    i:\temp\TEST.VBS i:\temp\test.bat

delta4s and Perris Calderon like this.

worked beautifully, thanks a lot. How can I stop the script though ? If I end the programs in task Manager, the invoked programs keep coming back.
