bandwidth throttling

Hi, i was just wondering if anyone knew of any software which would allow me to throtlle the bandwidth consumed by my computer on our LAN. I'm currently on dial up and am saving my pennies for routers etc when i get broadband in the not so distant future.

Afaik the answer to that question is still no.

Unless you use proxies or something. But you don't want to.
