Is there any way to see if my stick of memory is bad (short of simply buying a new stick)? I think it might be the culprit of my seemingly random freezings in my box.

    Just one stick.

  5. The only real way sort of getting another stick and swapping them is to find a utility program that can test the chips at the software level. I honestly don't know where to find one - but they do exist, I've used one before at a computer manufactor. Some else on the borads may be able to point you in the right direction, and I will look around.

    Sounds good, but....

The page you linked to doesn't load. Dunno if you missed a character or something.
