Is there any way to see if my stick of memory is bad (short of simply buying a new stick)? I think it might be the culprit of my seemingly random freezings in my box.

Ram

Well you could BORROW (thats not buying :D ) a stick of ram and trade it, and see if it crashes.....

The only real way sort of getting another stick and swapping them is to find a utility program that can test the chips at the software level. I honestly don't know where to find one - but they do exist, I've used one before at a computer manufactor. Some else on the borads may be able to point you in the right direction, and I will look around.

Sounds good, but....

The page you linked to doesn't load. Dunno if you missed a character or something.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
