Don't know what you mean by comparing, but how would that fix my computer?

Man, this sucks, guess I will just have to live with it till I upgrade.

Also can you ask your friend his bios settings? Maybe mine is set wrong. Or any other settings he thinks might help?

i have the 64MB gainward g4 ti4200 and get scores around the 8600 mark untweaked on default settings @ 1024x768x32

Maybe its my t-bird, guess I will just go get a xp mb and chip, and recommandations, want to spend 200-300.

you should be able to get 8000 with your current rig..

I can't see where the bottleneck is...

reason I asked for your compare is if you run all the tests it will show bandwidth et all info as WELL as your score...

perhaps if one of them is low you might be able to tweak that setting in the bios... dats all...

if you are to get a new cpu/mobo/hsf or whatever... wait till the new 2700+ comes out to see features and what you want to get...

well the 3dmark2001 score you get... go to project manger in your online browser and post the COMPARE link that will show...

thats all you have to do... just post the compare link... publish teh score and copy the shortcut here...
