I just want directsound in vista and i'd Install it again and play I quite liked it for a product at beta 1 stage

Ditto. I would have kept Vista, even with the occaisional blue screens and random crashes. Not support for my 5.1 setup (Audigy 2 ZS Platinum) though, so I went back to XP. I'll pickup Vista when it's released though. ;-)

I got the audigy 2 drivers to install no problem. Its just vista lacks the direct sound and directsound3d dlls and I didnt want to arse around plugging them in from directx9 full installredist
