er... why not just force 'advanced' as default? wouldn't that just answer everyone's questions?

It's a waste of time and bandwidth loading up the advanced screen when (almost) everything you need is in the QuickReply section.

Ok to close the matter, I just had a good look and there is no such hack yet, I have found one for 3.0 that I will keep tabs on and read a bit of feedback and we will go from there. I won't forget either as I have subscribed to that thread, so will be notified of any progress.
