ATI Radeon X1900XT & Crossfire

    I'm researching upgrade parts, and have come across these cards...

    The ATI Radeon X1900XT & ATI Radeon X1900XT Crossfire...

    Can someone please explain the difference, cause I can also not find a compatible motherboard for Crossfire, so want to know if its all amazingly great or not.

    X1900 regular version has dual link DVI
    X1900 CrossFire version has one DVI and one CrossFire port to connect to another X1900

    so not really needed unless you have 2 of them

    True. And most X1900XT's can be flashed to a X1900XTX BIOS. You should also remove and clean-lap the GPU copper interface.
