I have got an Radeon 64DDR ViVo with the last drivers before the Catalyst set came out. In the hardware manager it has my card listed as a Radeon 7200.

I don't know if the 2 are connected, but when I install the Catalyst drivers I keep getting the BSOD with the IRQ_Less_than... message. If I try to roll back or uninstall and reinstall the previous drivers I usually have to format my drive a few days later because of all the problems.

Can anyone help me out on this please???

Thanks in advance

try playing around with your other pci cards... it is highly possible with the newer drivers that there is a resource sharing bug... with the other pci cards...

if you play around with them.. moving them to other slots... the error may cease...

else you may have to stick with your older drivers and contact ati tech support... sry.. I do not have much knowledge of that card @ this time.. a year or so ago I did have the same card... with 32mb sdr though :) and had no probs with the cats and the irq errors once I moved my pci slots around... otherwise I also had irq erros...

Thanks sazar, I'll give it a go. I have a couple of spare PCI slots, although one of them needs a bit of work on (the thread for the screw is bust)

I looked in device manager and my Graphics card, Modem and extra USB port all share IRQ11 (I'm sure i've seen something about this on the board somewhere?). Theres also 2 entries for "Via rev 5 or later USB Universal host controller". Does anyone know what this is and how to move it to another IRQ??

Thanks again to anyone who can help

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?

Impressed you have kept this alive this long EP! So many sites have come and gone. :(

Just did some crude math and I apparently joined almost 18yrs ago, how is that possible???
