We I start the PC, I got this error, It has something to do with the loading of the ATI control Panel

I got WIN XP HOME SP2, all updates (including latest 13), .NET v1.1, ADSL 1500/96.
This are the problems that I have loaded: NOD32 antivirus, MS antispyware, Virtual Dameon v3.47, Gmail Notifier.

Try uninstalling the Catlyst 5.2 drivers from the Add/Remove menu. Reboot and d/l the Catalyst uninstaller from here. Run that then reboot and re-install the drivers.

    i had a similiar issue.
it was the control panel that comes with the driver package i believe.

    try uninstalling that too.

Driver Cleaner would probably be a better solution to removing all ATI drivers.

First uninstall all ATI software from the cpanel. Then mop up all the leftover ATI files with DC.

Restart, and then install the new drivers.

i might have just downloaded the latest control panel and just installed over the old one...not sure, but nonetheless, that problem went away.

I solved the problem, uninstalling and driver cleaner solved it, but I am not noob :S

I had problems in the past but this time, I thought it was something about .NET or something more complicated.

/note_to_myself next time, try the solution you know, and the ask, you n00b

    :D

    Thanks for the help !
