what do you need to know from the error message, heh i remembered most of it...except for the string of numbers at the end..would that be useful to know?

hey do any of you think this could be related to a power problem? i tried installing a floppy disk drive and when i turned the computer on, my 4 fans wouldn't start. so i unplugged the floppy and they still wouldn't start...now i have them setup differently (different plug setup) and they are working but i noticed that my cpu fan is now spinning slower..its a 480 watt psu by antec.

i googled a psu calculator and it says all i need is 342..

Not likely a power supply problem.

Check that you have not plugged the floppy ribbon cable or power connector in backwards.

Also check taht if yuo moved some pwoer connections around that you did not push a pin back in one of the connectors. the molex connectors are pretty shoddy and it happens a lot.

I reinstalled windows98 and I need to know how I can go back to format my drive c. Is this possible?

Just pop in your winxp cd rom boot from it and use that to format your hard drive
