Asus A7N8X Deluxe V1 and V2

I bought a new PC recently but I don't know if I got the V2 which seems to be the thing to have. I wasn't aware that there were two revisions when I bought it. How do I know which I have? And what are the differences?

I'm thinking that the A7N8X Deluxe "V2" is referring to itself being the next thing after the regular A7N8X board. Is this right? If so, that is really retarded. You don't need to call it A7N8X Deluxe, and then v2 to top it off. The Deluxe is more than enough by itself. This will only serve to confuse people. Unless I am wrong and there is an A7N8X Deluxe and an A7N8X Deluxe V2. Anyone?

there is an A7N8X Deluxe 1.x as well as 2.0.

the 2.0 boards note the updated nforce2 northbridge, called the Ultra 400. is has official 400fsb support and better memory compatibility.

Look on the actual board between the first two PCI slots, it'll tell you what revision you have.

actually, with the new BIOS (1004 or 1006) the v1.04 has official support also....

Ahh, many thanks arson_nick, turns out I got the Rev 2.00. Sweet.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
