About 2 months ago or so i purchased the above mentioned motherboard and was wondering if it can support a 400 mhz fsb.
The web site said u need pcb version 2.0 or better. How do i find this out? Also, how do i install the usb 2.0 drivers for xp from the asus website?
Ohh,one more thing i noticed my board does not have the blue ddr slots like the pictured items anybody have 1 like this?
Thanx for the help.
:D

The easy way to check version is to look at the sticker on the box. If you tossed the box. There will be a small label on the MB somewhere that says. Lotsa luck finding it it could be on wirther side. You may have to pull the MB out.

yeah, like canadian said, even the 1.x pcb's from asus can do 400fsb. just not officicially from nvidia. that's why they released the nforce2 ultra 400, which is what all the 2.0 boards are made from. i think the only difference between the 1.x and 2.0 is official 400fb support. but a lot of the 1.x's can do 400 anyway.

on the a7n8x 2.0, it says between the agp slot and first pci slot, i think... "A7N8X 2.00"

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
