Is there a frontend program for the apache webserver. One for stats or extentions..etc.. I am new too apache is there any tips either? By the way is the sample config somewhat secure?? so many questions :D

Stats? As in page hits, refers, etc? There are a bunch of PHP/mySQL programs out there that track that information for you.

Of course, if you wanted to write one in Apache, I guess you could do so. Follow the link below for information.

I find the docs on that page very hard to follow... I am new to web servers all together... I am simply hosting a few sites for friends on an old comp. I decided to install apache b/c I heard it was good. The machine is running win2k would it be better to run the web server that comes with win2k??

But back to me other question ..in apache is there a way to take the plain regular assess.log and see it graphically with a chart or options..etc etc.

And yes b4 someone points the obvious out to me...this is probably not the 'correct' forum to post this stuff too. So does someone know of a forum geared toward apache?? I joined the mailing list but didn't see a forum on their site

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
