Anyone NOT play Doom 3?

Just figured I'd start a thread cos it seems as if I'm the only one this forum that doesn't play Doom 3. Hell, I don't play any games. The last couple of days the forum has been swamped by Doom 3 related threads, so here's the chance to have a thread that isn't about Doom 3.

I do play certain games now and then...but very few, and very rarely. Stuff like Need for Speed, flight sims etc. Not into FPS's at all.

Generally, I tend to install a game [I'm very very picky when it comes to the games I even try], play for 2 days, uninstall, and put on my shelf to collect dust. I give them away sometimes to friends. Deus Ex (single-player) and the original UT have been about the only ones to ever really interest me for an extended period.

I don't consider myself a gamer but I do like to check out new releases now and then. Doom 3 had so much hype that I had to check it out. I'm impressed but I can live without it.

Now I just need to find a decent backgammon game for my computer.

I can't play doom 3 as P4 machine still has a going strong GeForce 2 GTS. My laptop could play it, but thanks to dell and the school that gave it to me, it's GeForce FX GO 5200 only has 32mb of memory. I know, that's good enough to play, but I don't have a copy and won't spend $40 on a game I can wait for my bro-in-law to snatch it or even wait for someone on eBay to sell it at half the cost.

I cant play doom 3 with mr graphics card and if i could i wouldnt cause i dont like games for pc anymore. I will play nascar for time to time and sometimes the sims but other than that i dont play games.

Nah, PC isn't powerful enought to handle it. For some reason, I've lost my interest in it anyways.

Not planning ot get it. I resent games priced over $40 and it has a weak multiplayer on top of that.

Think my rig would handle it but I don't have the $ for games anymore and I'm not shelling out $50 for a game thats gotten such poor reviews (after coming out - not sure how ppl gave it great reviews before having never played it).

I don't own it yet... Lets just say I'm in college now, and money has been better. I also have tuition, books, parking, etc... I'm actually in 2 schools tbh, and when I graduate from one, hoping to get a decent enough job to continue in the other, and well...

I haven't played as many on the PC of late (my comp desk broke when I moved and kinda hard playing on floor). I do plan on buying it sometime though...
