Anyone here slipstream SP1 ? Probs w/ patchxp.

Hey,

Basically I've downloaded the new patcher that fixed the SP1 problem and have been tested and tried for the last few months, but I recently slipstreamed SP1 and did a reinstall, but come time to patch it like always, it somehow did not take. Themes will no longer respond.

Perhaps slipstreaming the sp1 isn't exactly like updating windows with sp1.. man this is weird.

Hope someone has an insight on this.. much thanks.

Should have used the search function first. Scarcely has this problem been asked since there was only one other thread containing stripstream.

Anyways, this is the thread that solved my problem.

I had to delete the uxtheme.bak (backup that patchXP had made -- both in C:\windows\system32 & c:\windows\system32\dllcache) and repatched it.
