Can someone tell me how to get some kind of quicklaunch bar on the sides or top of your screen? I want something that resembles the old office toolbar so it will autohide, but I don't know how in xp. Can I move the quicklaunch bar from the normal windows bar and stick it on the side or top of the screen (and have it auto hide)? If so I can't figure it out... Is there a program that will let you do that??

just make sure the taskbar isn't locked and yes you can just drag the bar to where you want it. then right click on it and select auto-hide and re-lock your taskbar and your set :)

Ah, thanks. I have been doing that with 98, and for some reason when I did it now I forgot to drag the resize arrow, i just clicked empty space in the bar and tried to drag that... Anyway, problem solved, thanks!

One other thing on that, if anyone sees this: how can I make the icons in that bar bigger?

for the second guy, I think you can just go to desktop, right-click and then go through the options there and change the size of the bar from there... I did some dragging and changed the size of my taskbar... I did it a while back...

good luck... if it doesn't work I will try and find some other way to do it...
