I have a celeron 266 and an intel mu440exmobo. Aida says my AGP slot is only running at 1x. How do I get it to run at the phenomenal speed of 2x?

Yeah I have the latest bios. Are there any apps to do it or will I have to play in the bios setup?? Could it be I only have an agp1x card in it??

James

Are you sure that the AGP slot can run at 2x on that board? Looks like a pretty old board...

From what i can gather your motherboard has integrated graphics (2mb Ati Rage pro turbo) and no Agp slot only 2 pci slots and one Isa slot.

Also i cannot find in the manual (attached) any reference to it supporting 2x Agp...so it may not be able to !.

Overclocking is also out as the fsb maximum is 66 which your cpu already runs at, for more info read the attached file....i presume Aida is reporting wrong.

And yes, if you only have a 1x AGP card, you can only run it at 1x :)

Thanks guys. AIDA must be wrong.

Thanks for the heads up on the oc-ing. I have tried to oc it with cpu cool and SFSB and neither worked. I was wondering why

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
