anyone have any opinions on this that are technical? and not just a ati or NV bias?

i would run 3d mark on it but i am unable to turn the pc off for about 2 days.

They are both decent cards, but if it were me, I would save up and get a:
Nvidia: 6600 or 6600GT
ATI: 9800Pro or X1600Pro
