Default Video game giants in $18bn merger

Activision and Blizzard have said they will form "the world's most profitable games business" in a deal worth $18.8bn (£9.15bn).

Interesting. I'm hoping they don't let the Blizzard half of the deal make decisions over any new game server subs though :P

ArenaNet is a computer game developer and part of NCsoft Corporation, founded in 2000 by Mike O'Brien, Patrick Wyatt and Jeff Strain, former Blizzard Entertainment members that played important roles in developing the highly successful computer games Warcraft, StarCraft, Diablo, Diablo II, and the Battle.net gaming network. ArenaNet's offices are located in Bellevue, Washington.
In the Guild Wars community, ArenaNet is often referred to as A.Net, in a similar fashion to the abbreviation B.Net for Battle.net.

And most people say its because Blizzard had no intentions of making Diablo III ... but thats why they made Guildwars

Last I heard Activision was about to run out of money. This could be interesting to watch

If HK-47 and GLaDOS had a child, the character they create would cause the video game world to overdose on awesome. -sheridanmovieguy: Dragon age forum user.
