Fixed Fixing thread titles.

I am not trying to sound like a jerk here. But when a some one from the staff fixes a thread title, could they please pm the originator to let them know they did it and why?

I came in this morning and saw one of mine was changed and thought before that that it got deleted or something. I think pming the person and letting them know would clear up some things.

I don't mind it getting done, but notifying me would save me confusion. And we all know how easy it is to get me confused lol ...

I don't think that is an unreasonable request. What made you think your thread got deleted? When you subscribe to the thread or do any type of search for it, it's driven off of the thread ID, not the title. For instance, I could change this thread to "Yellow Snow is good for you" and it would be the same thread ID

That being said, there was a spelling mistake in your thread so I fixed it. It said "befor" instead of "before" I wouldn't think that change would prevent you from finding it?

Like I said KC, just letting the person know would be good. I wasn't trying to be a jerk or anything. If you would have said it was because I can't spell, then that would have cleared it up better for me lol

I don't normally subscribe to threads. That is something I might start doing though, thanx for the tip.

Go to Edit Profile (http://forum.osnn.net/profile.php?do=editoptions) and look in the Default Thread Subscription Mode box. Select "No email notification" and click on "Save Changes". Once you do that you will automatically see new replies to topics you posted in in your User CP.

Fwiw, I typically post a little thing for the reason for thread title changes in the thread itself.
