Default Problems with wap.osnn.net using UK o2 Network

Hi, i can't seem to view the osnn.net wap site using my o2 (UK) mobile. I get Error 500: Please contact your service provider, although if i use another network i can access the page fine. Does anyone else on o2 have the same problem, or can anyone else on o2 try for me to see if its just me having problems.

Many thanks

Seems to be working here. Try using this url : http://www.osnn.net/modules.php?modname=mobile

That's where wap.osnn.net should re-direct you to.

Hmm, guess not then. I'm on O2 and it gives me the 500 error also, may just be O2? The site seems to work via a browser and also WAP emulators.

I'm on vodafone and it works for me, may just be a O2 thing.

You on O2 Henyman?

I was using a Maxon A-30 (supports WAP2.1) over GPRS on O2, and it gave the error.

Nokia 3650 w/ T-Mobile (USA)
I always use NetFront (or Opera for Symbian) to access OSNN in full XHTML mode (like a regular webpage using www.osnn.net). I just tried wap.osnn.net right now with the built-in WAP browser today, and got a "Reply Unknown" error, so it seems like something might be wrong there.

I know this is an old thread but i completely forgot about it.

After a bit of investigating, apparantly when the HTTP request is sent from o2 the host: line has the port number (80) added on the end which many of the other providors do not do. This may be what is making the wap.osnn fall over when requesting it from an o2 phone. This has been the case with many other sites. The HTTP request is correct with or without this port number but not all sites expect requests with the port number on the end.

Hope this helps.
