I dont see why it should be under Hardware... Networking involves more than just a router or some cabling. There is configuring and topology and should have its own section.

Well, yes it isn't just hardware involved in this. BUT, what is networking?!
I don't think it should be placed with software either since it's not a software.

In fact, I think we should have a separate section for Networking

Networking
>Hardware Issues
>Software Issues
>Security

If not under hardware then most definately not under software

I couldn't agree more networking is its own beast, and as not to configure the issue it should be sub-catergorized as Ming suggested re:

>Hardware Issues
>Software Issues or Configuration Issues
>Security

There aren't enough posts to have 3-6 subcategories

Are you saying it's useless to have 3 subcats?
I'm sure it'll be much more organised that way, and easier for members to locate information that they need to find.

That can't be done (the mass moving thing, I just got a hug ).
The thing is it can only be done via admin CP and there is no way in hell we'll get to access that
Anyway, I think that there are enough Smods to take care of the mass move thing.

Actually giving networking it's own section might be a good idea.
I am on the road at the moment but will take a look at it when I get home.

Networking is of course a matter of both configuring both software and hardware, so I was stuck as to where to put it.

I didn't consider making its own section.
