I believe it has been disabled (temporarily) to see the effect on the server load.

I recieve E-Mail notice if i comment on the front page topics but not on the actual forums!.

Which does not really bother me anymore as i do a search on my name to see if anyone has posted after me on a thread.

Don't worry 2.30 will go final soon has been a release candidate for quite a while. They really want to make it the last ever release, so they can fully concentrate on 3.0

We will update to 3.0 once it has gone final and has had a chance to get rid of those last minute bugs!

here's the best idea for you guys;

under one of your posts, hit the button that says profile

then in your profile, top right, you'll see a "search for all posts by this user"

right click, make that a favorite

then, just hit that whenever you want to track the threads you've posted on.

use this till we get the email notification back on line

Here's the method I prefer, myself:
Dealer doesn't like it because it doesn't take you to the last post, but I like it because the results don't have all that extra info -- thus you can overview which posts are new much easier.

1) Make a bookmark or favorites of any page on NTFS.org
2) Find the bookmark in your favorites menu->right click on it->and select properties
3) Put in the following address for the URL:
http://www.ntfs.org/forum/search.php?s=&query=&searchuser=USERNAME&exactname=yes&forumchoice=-1&titleonly=&showposts=&searchdate=-1&beforeafter=after&sortby=lastpost&sortorder=descending&action=simplesearch&Submit=Perform Search

Simply replace the part in red with your username. In the case of my username, I have a space in my name (which is not allowed in the URL), so I have to put in the following Kevin%20Ar18 Notice I replace the space with %20

I noticed a problem when you posted it -- same thing happened to me when I copied and pasted it one time. You may want to edit my post and get the UBB code and copy it from there so it will paste right.

Hmm... as a moderator I would have thought you would have had access to edit posts (such as when you encounter objectionable content).
Anyways, here ya go -- all ready for copying and pasting.

PHP Code:
1Make a bookmark or favorites of any page on NTFS.org
2
Find the bookmark in your favorites menu->right click on it->and select properties
3
Put in the following address for the URL:
[
b]http://www.ntfs.org/forum/search.php?s=&query=&searchuser=[u][color="red"][i]USERNAME[/i][/color][/u]&exactname=yes&forumchoice=-1&titleonly=&showposts=&searchdate=-1&beforeafter=after&sortby=lastpost&sortorder=descending&action=simplesearch&Submit=Perform Search[/b]

Simply replace the "USERNAME" which is red Capital Letters with your username on this forum.  In the case of my usernameI have a space in my name (which is not allowed in the URL), so I have to put in the following [color="red"]Kevin%20Ar18[/color]  Notice I replace the space with %20
Unfortunately, it wouldn't let me give you the code to make USERNAME in red, so you'll have to add that in:
PHP Code:
[color=red]USERNAME[/color
