Well, I re-formatted (recovered) the hard drive and the net related stuff seems to be working now. OSNN, Hotmail and the Sympatico webmail logon opened fine. And all images are also showing up on the webpages (that also was not happening). So far, able to download emails (fingers crossed) too...

Windows XP (Professional) computer connected to school network. How can I load/start up the computer normally? There is software needed for use on the pc (on its own hard drive) but I cannot access it as it loads from the network. I can get into the BIOS if that helps.

It is connected to the MB. I obviously did something in error when I re-formatted the computer. Me thinks I was suppose to assign it a number of drives??? There is no sign of it in the Device Manager. There are no exclamation or question marks there either. All my other USB ports are fine. Now...

Help! I have an HP a1106n Desktop with card reader. I have inserted a memory card from a digital camera but nothing is happening? With the various card readers, nothing shows up as a 'drive' in my computer either??? Any help would be appreciated. Windsows XP Home by the way.

Need a bit of help here... I have an HP P4 2.93 computer with 512mb of DDR2 "3200" ram. Is it possible for me to remove the (2 sticks of 256mb) 3200 ram and replace it with 2 sticks of 512 DDR2 "4200" ram? Thanks.
