Just curious if anybody knows the reason of my problem. I try to install the new painkiller patch but it goes to a dos prompt and says not enough system memory. I have 1 gig of ram and a 600 meg swap file. Any clue what is causing this?
I just used the intel chipset platfrom utility and found that my ram is not setup for dual channel. Once i swap the ram out and move it so that it runs dual channel will this really help in games?

Well i wanted to install the drivers so that maybe it would run as fast as possible but i might be mixed up. The motherboard is a ASUS p4sd-la.
I cant seem to find a way to make a maxtor setup disk on a floppy. I have the cd but when windows is installing and ask for a scsi driver it wants a floppy disk and i cannot using the cd that came with it. Any help would be great.
I have noticed that everytime i install xp there is a xerox folder on the hardrive that cannot be erased. Does everybody get this? Sorry for posting so many stupid questions.

I have tried emulated in winxp and tried all patches for winme and all for xp and even all the nvidia drivers for winme but no luck.
I have a new system 2.4ghz with ht and 1 gig of ram but i cannot install windows me and use my geforce fx5600 ultra on it . I will install the drivers and then reboot and all it says is krnl386.exe is missing. I am doing this so I can play a older game called fighting force. Any help would be nice.
I have 2 40 gig hardrives both using ata 133 cabling. Both are ata 100 and ones 7200rpm other is 5400, but on all the benchmarks they only run about 20 to 28 megs a second. I have Windows xp installed with latest Intel application drivers. System is 1.4ghz p4 with 512 rdram. Any clues?
New 2.3 just released.. sort of.
My screen may be messed up lol but the Intel site is showing that they have released the 2.3 version but it is not available on the download site.
