Thanks... my card is working right now but i never was able to use the cd to install the driver.. the card just started working when i downloaded the ATI catalyst thing from the internet.. Am ok or should i makes sure i install the stuff on the cd?

Ok i connect the video card and start up my computer.. i put the ati cd in and begin to install it.. when it starts to install it gives an error message that says, "Try to setup your display adapter with a standard VGA driver before running setup." What does this mean??

I got a new graphics card for Christmas and I was so excited that I uninstalled the ATI graphics that came with the computer to find out later that the card I got was AGP when I had a PCIe slot. :dead: Now since the graphics I uninstalled came with the computer, I don't have a cd to reinstall...

K that's what I thought the problem would be.. guess I was hoping that that wasn't the case.. How many watts should my power supply have to run good PCI-E cards?

yeah I was worried about that.. I looked up some pictures of an express slot and they didn't look like this one.. Are pci express slots usually shifted back like that though?? .. how good are pci express cards? I dont know a whole lot about graphic cards...
