So after 6 or so years of faithful service my pc up and died yesterday powering itself off out of the blue, now it wont boot up without cycling through powering on and off... So it looks like I'll need a new one. I do some gaming, nothing crazy, but I would like to buy an optimal machine...

If I were to use process explorer, I would see all these applications 'hooked' to explorer. Sometimes explorer crashes and restarts, after which these applications are all seperate. I'm not sure, but I think all or some of these applications 'hooked' to explorer are causing it to crash...

Is there a quick and easy way to have a shortcut open a group of folders? or perhaps set them to a hotkey?

I have this wierd problem where it takes FOREVER to launch applications for the first time, and then it seems to speed up slightly on multiple launches. Reboot and its back to incredibly long launch times... any suggestions?
