I have video (really dark, can hardly see the picture) and audio. I've tried 3 different sets of drivers, reinstalled all the codecs, have the current directx and still nothing :dead:

since i formated every movie i open in wmp, vlc, quicktime is dark no matter what it is or where it came from. what the hell is going on?

Hey, I'm posting this for a friend. He's trying to get his comp set up and everything is hooked up right he says. When it turns on it says "CPU is unworkable or has been changed. Please recheck - CPU SOFT MENU - PRESS F1 TO CONTINUE." And there is this annoying alarm thing or something he says...

my friend got this card oem and there was no power cable to plug in, and theres nothing on the psu to plug in. what cord do we need to plug into this.. edit/image removed thanks.

i fixed it. turns out my ide cable was bad the last thing i could think of as i finally calmed down. thank you EVERYONE for the help as always :)

i just tried another drive and either i have 2 dead drives or something is @%(&@#

i dont have room for anything on any other drives. how could i even get data off the thing if its not even being reconized?

The drive itself doesnt show up in bios. i'm so lost right now. all i did was unplug the cable that connects into the motherboard itself and replace the heatsink. i didn't change any jumper settings or anything. It worked perfectly fine until I took out motherboard and did the stuff today. I...

gah i'm so frustrated right now. like it doesn't show up at all in My Computer. I just got done taking out all the cables and putting them back in and this slave drive won't do anything.

so i took out everything from my computer today to put back in the stock heatsink and now my hard drive randomly doesnt work. it worked earlier today before i took everything apart and i have all the cables plugged in right? is it dead now or what?

so yeah. i open cd rom, explorer crashes, i exit steam, explorer crashes. i do the most random things and explorer crashes. im on sp1 still since i've heard of all the flaws and junk in sp2. i have NO idea what does this..i've formated multiple times, nothing. anyone know anything?

i figured it out. i guess for some reason i never installed GART with the chipset drivers and the card was running PCI instead of AGP(dont ask, i dont know :P) so i just uninstalled all chipset and video drivers and reinstalled everything and i just bench'd it and got 16647. thanks for the help...

Ok so i'm thinking a 7,000 score on 3Dmark01 is low for having a fx5900xt oc. i tried the nvidia 61.76 drivers and the 61.77. if you know why my scores are so low please PLEASE help me. my setup AMD64 3200+ Gigabyte K8NS-Pro BFG GeforceFX 5900XT oc 1GB Corsair XMS PC3200XLPRO Low Latency.
