quite a long download (about 3/4 hour ) all went well .put onto DVD and installed easily,so far only opened outlook and it seems a lot quicker opening.:)

looking for lightscribe software to use with vista,did have a nero 6 disc but that won't run on vista .:rolleyes:

:laugh: Got to agree with most of the posters here nod32 is the one to install .I have been useing it for twelve months now and have had no problems at all ,it even updates it self and doesn't slow the computer down as does norton .

well after close inspection of the hard drive i noticed that one of the pins was either broken or pushed in,so not getting contact with all 38 pins the hard drive would not work.i have been intouch with seagate by email and i was quite surprised by their quickness of their response a reply...

just spent another day trying to sort the problem out.when connecting the master drive up it works great by its self ,but when i connect the slave the computer bios doesn't see any of the drives hard or optical,i've even put new ribbon cable on but still no luck.:cry:

:cry: just installed a new hard drive which as you see is a gigabyte k8n,got the master working ok but cannot get the slave recognised at all .when booting up everything just freezes up in the bios boot up section and will not go into windows .what have i done wrong or what haven't i done to get...

:) while looking in the hewlett packard website for drivers for my printer came across x64 drivers in beta ,this is the first beta and is a 58.4 mb download .ah well nothing gained so i'll give it a try and let you know how i get on :laugh:
