Just posting back to tell you guys problem is fixed. I picked up a SB Audigy card. Installed it, removed the AEaudio drivers, disabled onbaord sound. ANd it working fine. Thanks for your help :) Lude.

Yes i tried updating the sound drivers, i have sound card on the way. Should have it tomorrow. Ill post back when i get it installed. :)

I installed driver, i had the optimizer. Still that damn AEaudio is using 20-30 cpu. I have a Soundcard on the way. That should fix problem right?

Yes, AMD 6000x2 I always turn my computer off. i downloaded sound driver, didnt fix anything. :suprised: COuld you point my in the direction of the AMD driver I have XP 32 bit.

Ive tried installing new nforce driver for my motherboard. But when i do I gets rid of my Network connections? Are there certain drivers for the onboard sound? Asus M2N SLI-Deluxe 570 Videocard has newest drivers.

Well i downloaded Process Exploer and this is what came back. If in reading this right, which i dont know if i am. Is the process "AEaudio.sys+0x14106" The problem?

IM running spybot now, i checked the event viewer in XP for Appilcaions and System this is what came up...downloading Process Explorer now. I wont be able to post back for a few hours, (wife wants to go out) For System this what came up alot. and these are the App errors:

I downloaded NOD3 and it came back with nothing. The good news is i figured out what it was. I dont have a floppy drive connected, but under "my computer" it was showing a floppy drive. I went into device manager and disabled the floppy. Porblem solved! My guess is the computer was looking for...

No its at like 0-1, others tell me when playing games are at 0-5. Why is mine so high. CPU usage in game wil go up to 60-75% This process is using more CPU then the game itself. Thats about "system idle process" right? IM talking about the "system" process itself.

I downloaded it and that process is still there. Why would it only start when i play games? This is driving me crazy. :dead: That process shouldnt be taking up 25-50 of my cpu right?
