when i tried to access it yesterday from the normal icon,it poped up saying to access it through help and support,clicked on it in there and everything ran as normal,assumed they must have changed access to it for some reason or other
when installing nvidia drivers always uninstall the old ones first
delete the card from the device manager reboot in vga mode,let windows reinstall the card then install the new drivers
by doing the repair you don't lose any of your files,and people being instructed over the phone or internet that don't have much computer knowledge usually find it easier to follow.it was only a suggestion.
do a repair from the cd
boot from the cd
choose install
when the first repair option comes up ignore continue with install
when it finds the previous installation then choose repair
