Default Wireless 360 Controller
I just got my Wireless PC 360 Controller, and adapter.

Plugged in the adapter, windows found drivers and installed them. No Issues.

Though, the controller is not detected. I have searched google for any known windows 7 issues, found none. And I have tried finding different drivers, no luck.

Ideas.

Going to ask the obvious and have you tried re-syncing them? Does the player 1 light come on?

Yea tried that.

Just flashes all rings, or goes in a circle. Doesn't stop.

For some reason, a restart of the computer, and one more time re syncing it worked.

Weird, glad you got it working. Do you want me to check mine? That way we could see if its the win7 driver or something with your hardware?
