I have the maintenance guide, which says only parts upto t7200 are available for the laptop. I believe it is a socket p, can anyone confirm this for me? The question is this, can i put the t8300 into this laptop? or can it only support upto the t7200? Thanks Luke |

This says you can use a t8300:
http://www.ambry.com/page/model_sele...art=394279-001 I would call hp to make sure though. From others that I am reading; you can not upgrade the processor. So you would have to get a new mobo. That is a nice Laptop by the way. |

thanks, it seems you just have to take the entire thing apart to replace the cpu, its super intensive, but would really help with my job.
