Default Upgrading CPU in HP Laptop

Ok so i want to upgrade my cpu in my hp dv9035nr laptop.

I have the maintenance guide, which says only parts upto t7200 are available for the laptop.

I believe it is a socket p, can anyone confirm this for me?

The question is this, can i put the t8300 into this laptop? or can it only support upto the t7200?

Thanks

Luke

This says you can use a t8300:

I would call hp to make sure though. From others that I am reading; you can not upgrade the processor. So you would have to get a new mobo.

That is a nice Laptop by the way.

thanks, it seems you just have to take the entire thing apart to replace the cpu, its super intensive, but would really help with my job.
