Normalize them to 100%? I'm not familiar with those programs. Does audacity show you the sound wave so you can see the amplitude levels?

yes it does, it's very strange they sound fine on my computer but after transferring to my windows mobile 6 phone they sound very soft.
They are coming from 160 kbps mp3 files...I'm baffled. |

Here is howto to make loud ringtones
http://www.mrbass.org/ringtones/ Or try http://makeownringtone.com It allows you to make your own ringtones from your mp3's and add effects (it makes loud ringtones by default). |
