I've got my hands on a new cell phone, with legit MPT and cable. Phone connects just fine, and tranfers all compatible file types OK. However, TELUS has felt the need to disable my phone's ability to play uploaded files as ringtones. for example - I upload 1234.mp3 - it shows up in my audio folder on the phone and plays. - the file is not available to use as a ringtone. I've heard rumors that a workaround exists, something to do with deleting files on the phone, but alas, I'm a noob, and therefore need help! Anyone with any insight would be most helpful. Thanks :P |
