Razr V3 Subsidy Password?
Am new to this site so please bear with me. I have tried to find a post with the info for this but I just end up in circles. My friend has given me a Motorola Razr V3 Pink but when I try my sim it asks for the "Subsidy Password". I know there are sites that will do it for you but I am certainly not paying for something that I'm sure I could do myself if only I had the info. I have the USB cable and have installed the drivers and I also have a bunch of Moto tools but from there I am stuck! Can anyone please help or advise me on what to do next? I am a total noob when it comes to mobiles so any help would be much appreciated. Regards, Saint. |

If the person you got the RAZR from was in good standing with their phone company they should be able to get an unlock code from them. If they were not, you are out of luck, at least on this forum.

The phone company charges a stupid amount, as do most web sites. I can get it done for £5 here where I live, I just wanted the feel good factor of doing something myself.
