Kinda confused...

I have a Verizon V3c. I have the .03 firmware. I was going to flash to .02 and then go to Verizon and have them flash it to .04 but I read that now flashing to .04 at the store will still keep MPT transfer disabled. So what would be the best route to go now? I'd like to get MPT enabled and also get the fixes provided by upgrading to .04. TIA!
