There are ties. Three phones tied for the last spot.

Its an american company isnt it, they probably just figured the costs of reducing emissions would be too costly.

If you read the whole article what's really interesting is the range of levels.
It runs something like 0.34 all the way up to 1.58. You'd think the high level phone makers would care more about reducing exposure levels if numbers that low can be acheived. |

heh... I'd just like to add that from what I've been hearing, Moto also has the highest number of faulty handsets.
![]() or at least, their phones breakdown much quicker than other manufacturers'. |

Your list (thanks) made me curious.
Good explanation of how we're (possibly) frying our brains: http://electronics.howstuffworks.com...radiation3.htm How Cell-phone Radiation Works If you know your cell phone's FCC identification code, you should be able to look up the SAR: https://gullfoss2.fcc.gov/prod/oet/c...ericSearch.cfm Or look at the label on your phone: "In order to gain an FCC license, a phone's maximum SAR level must be less than 1.6 watts per kilogram (W/kg). In 2000, the Cellular Telecommunications & Internet Association (CTIA) ordered cell-phone manufacturers to place labels on phones disclosing radiation levels." |
