Fitzy, be nice.

Terra, I don't know. HTC has been releasing BBC after the fact for most of the newer devices.

*sigh* ok

From what I understand the BlackBerry Bold is going to be running a 624Mhz proc. And as Matt mentioned, the BBC client usually show sup a little after the release. However, as the original Touch is out (or soon to be), I'm not sure how different the HD version will be that it can't run the existing BBC app when it does launch.

edit: beyond that, the HTC Devices are windows mobile 6.1 devices at heart and as the BBC client already runs on WM6.1, i'm assuming you can get it to work albeit without support. However, as I do not have a WM6.1 device, I can't verify if that is the case or not.

I'm wondering whether Blackberry will run more efficiently on a HTC device than Windows 6.1. Still waiting to get the XDA Stellar which (if I read correctly) is capable of running Blackberry.

HTC devices handle WM 6.1 just fine. The new TouchFLO 3D makes it fun, too.

However, I can understand why you would say that and I hope WM 7 will bring something new to the table (as Microsoft has promised). Hopefully.

The SE X1 (lol) was HTC built. Supposedly the Palm Treo Pro was also built by HTC.

From the better late than never - I upgraded my Tilt to WM6.1 the other night. Sweet so far - but having annoying "403 forbidden" errors on my browser from time to time. I found it online as being a big issue - just toggle Airplane mode and it fixes or reboot the phone.

Anyone else plagued by this?

Yeah I get that problem too with IE, I actually got it with 6.0 as well. I've noticed that problem only happens to IE, opera mobile is not prone to that bug.

Still no word on the HTC Touch Pro with US 3G. The AT&T Fuze (AT&T's version of the Pro) seems to be on track for a November/December release. I will never buy another AT&T branded phone; crappy ROM.

Huh? You can run blackberry apps on windows mobile devices. There ate HTC devices that run blackberry connect.

What do you mean AT&T Branded phone? You going to try and buy unlocked from HTC? I'm confused.

AT&T ROMs suck. Bloated and slow. My last two phones have been unlocked HTC phones and they work perfectly on the AT&T network. Only downside: No discounts on hardware.

I think someone let slip on 6.5 the other day, hopefully will work with my Tytn2, been very tempted by the touch pro, but to be honest I am barely using my phone at the moment and it wouldn't really add any functionality that can justify the price!

Someone at Moto let it slip about 6.5. Interesting indeed.
