Doesn't Verizon offer a 30 day tryout period? Where if you aren't happy you can return it?

I ordered 7/14

I was thinking about though, but really until about 5 days ago or so it was tolerable. Now it seems I have to reset the thing 3-4 times daily, and that sucks. Even worse, if I don't use it for an hour or so it can look as if it's working via the OSD, but when I actually try to do something it won't work. Once I reboot, I'll find I had voicemails/emails from like 45 minutes ago

Only other Verizon model is the XV6700 which I don't like. I don't really want to mess with the Motorola Q either, looks icky.

Moto Q is too small for a PocketPC. Small screen and really small thumb board.

VX6700 is actually pretty nice. I think out of all the UTStarCom's it is the nicest with the black. But it is the same exact phone as Sprint's, AllTel's, etc.

Switch to Cingular or T-Mobile. CDMA is a thing os the past. GSM is much better and you can have multiple phones and you simply swap the SIM.

Perhaps it's time for a switch to Cingular in the Fall

Just talked with Verizon wrt to my phone problems. They said this only goes into effect if the contract is signed AFTER September of this year, and in their words....

"Sorry to hear about your phone troubles, there isn't really anything we can offer you though."

A bit surprised that wasn't offered, but I may venture to my local store today and try that out.

At least until I have the fundings available to switch to Cingular.

I already have my screen cover, will be buying the phone on Thursday.

I have had the luxury of testing signal strength where I frequent, work, home, Fiancee's house etc - my blackberry for work is Cingular, great signal most everywhere where as with Verizion it drops alot

Down with Verizon!!!!

I don't have a headset, my car has built-in Bluetooth support and operates over the in car phone system.

The sound comes over the in car audio system and there is a microphone integrated in the console. There are hand controls on the steering wheel that activate the voice activation.

Commands are Dial <number>, Redial, Phonebook, Call <name>, etc.

I was invited to join the Windows Live Beta for Windows Mobile 5.0. It should be available for download over the next couple of days. I'll post a full review once I install it.

Can anyone pull up e-mails within folder structures? All I can get are e-mails from my inbox, but a folder say within inbox\folder1 has no messages.

Is that by design?

You have to go into the settings for ActiveSync for "E-mail" and select which folders you want to sync.

Launch ActiveSync
Tools
Options
Highlight E-mail
Settings
Select Folders

Gosh, you owe me.
