Default Ipod Shuffle problems
So yea, my sister handed me a Shuffle a few days ago, said it didn't work. So I plugged it into my laptop and waited for my comp to detect it. Well, the computer didn't detect it, and what's worse, the ipod's not even charging. Since there's no apparant way to open the Shuffle to see what's wrong with it, what can I do?

is there any activity at all? sounds like the battery is dead. How long did you leave it attached to the computer. If the battery is totaly flat it may take a while for it to charge enough so it can power on and be detected. on the other hand the battery maybve completly dead

Apple's support pages are pretty comprehensive, have you tried the 5 R's?

Alternatively a search on their forums might turn up a similar problem to your own.

Did your sister say as to how the Shuffle stopped working?

Is it still under warranty?

Nope, just plugged it in one day and it wouldn't do anything. Warrenty is over, lol.

Bring it to an Apple Store anyway. They might help you out. I have heard great things about their customer service.
