I think w/ most digital camcorders these days you can shoot like a regular camcorder and also take stills.

this is true - but all the gigital camcorders ive seen have had poor still quality. iirc there was a digital camcorder that came out last year that was the first to have the capability of a 3mp still camera as well. cant remember which one it was though!

Why did i ever get in to computers - It sucks my wallet dry!

I have a Kodak DC290: It's listed as 2.1MP, but I've also ready that it can go up to 3.2.
But I'm thinking about selling this one off with all of the extras that I have for it. The Telephoto lens, the wide angle lens, the micro lenses, as well as the adapter and saving up to get a Nikon Coolpix 5700 or something else.

Looking to get at least 5.0mp and 8x optical zoom.

There's no place like 127.0.0.1
