by late july, early august of next year, how fast will the fastest processor be avalible for use in a laptop?

i recon it will be VERY fast for a pc (around 8ghz) but more like 5/6 ghz for a laptop. but intel won't launch a fast procesor even if they can,they will get all sales they can from slower 1's. then increse them by like .1ghz a month.

you are getting too far ahead !

they are releasing 3GHz now ! By then, (in July or August) I think there will be like 3.1 or 3.2 for PC's !

For laptops, I think around 2.8GHz !

like i said they only realese em slowly in order 2 make the most money. they could sudenly realses a 4ghz procesor but loose all the money they could get from a 3.1,3.2...etc.
