I don't like sony either... but their net MD still look good... I don't like it because I believe they put low quality components inside the machine to make profits.. surely they don't have the best sound.. but Net MD is still attractive enough.. with Net MD and MDLP ... one minidisc can provide good quality sound for hours.. and yes.. you better copy a CD using optical output device... but for normal use.. those MP3 you download from the web would be good enough... hehe... copyright problems?? I am sure you can get around it.. hehehe...

I have a Denon MD... best sound ever... but I am not sure if they have Net MD yet.. if not... I would go with sony... One and only.. Pioneer is good too... just don't get AIWA then you will be fine..
