The simplest method I have used to date, even simpler then odin is kingoroot

"one click" is never really just one click, there are usually downloads and a few other clicks, but this is a great app, most of the downloads happen on the one click, you do have to connect and disconnect the phone a couple of times

I used it on my mega before the phone was supported and I have root.

This root method is different then most of the others, they use a backdoor to install super user, it's not typically rom specific like most other one clicks, though of course having a phone they've tested is better then one they haven't

I would really advise checking out xda-developers.com and looking for guides specific to your device, these kits tend to steal the original developers exploits without due credit.

and can actually ruin your device.

In most cases, when you are talking about the other root methods, and sites that mimic or steal root files from the cooks on xda, you guys are right,

But kingo root goes about the root process differently then what they do on xda, It's a completely different process, and it's safer then their process, not more risky.

I don't think I've seen one report of a brick from kingo, I cannot say the same for xda, even those roots that are supported by the forum get bricks once in a while.

This from the kingo faq,
Kingo Android Root has already rooted more than 100,000 devices?and we never met a bricking situation. If you fail rooting your phone, please reboot and everything will be normal as usual.

and as I say, I have not seen a single brick trying the kingo one click, the same thing cannot be said about xda;

kingo does it differently then xda, from what I understand, kingo found a backdoor to install superuser, the backdoor is there or it is not, super user either installs or does not, they didn't' steel various roots from xda, they thought outside the box and came up with a different method, a single method that works on many phones

I believe by now hat back door has been closed on some phones though.
