Default HP Touchpad Quiet Headphone Volume

Hey Everyone,
So I received my Touchpad sometime last week. I'm very please with it, except for one thing. The volume to the headphones is very quiet. I've tested multiple headphones that work fine on other devices but when I use them on the Touchpad, the volume is very quiet...

Is there a fix for this that I can do myself? Should I send it back to HP, or is this a problem with every Touchpad that won't get fixed if I send it back?

Thanks a lot!
Jack

Seems to be a common issue.

Yep, I did.
I was wondering if people here had the problem (with what few of you got the touchpad) because although it seems common it could be a defect and I wanted to know if there were ones that worked well.

If you install preware, there are two different fixes for the volume problem.

I've noticed this issue as well ... made it impossible to watch videos on an airplane. I ended up using my headphones with a small amplifier in built-in (and noise cancelation).
