Exclamation Anyone heard of Yoggie?

It's some code on a USB stick - read a review from 2008 here...

Why do I mention it?

Well a client came in yesterday with a laptop asking us to install it for them...

actually they claimed the PC had been borked and would need a reinstall due to their attempts, but it turned out all was well with the world and they had just panicked at being presented with a log on screen and claimed not to know their password.

They hadn't tried hitting <enter>

So on to the install...

Not - I have no idea when they bought it or who sold it to them, but the device is apparently no longer supported. That's from their site according to my minion - I have not scroogled that far but did turn up a total tale of woe from August last year here.

I was slightly saddened, because behind it seems to be smoothwall and some sound thinking, anyone know more about this?

PS feel free to add any links to "idiots' guides" to security - I think I'd like to give them one!

interesting - slightly OT but the guy working for/with me is writing a dummy's guide on security now which I'll likely put up on the comm-tech website so I'll try to add it here for opinions when it's done.

anyone else heard of the Yoggie and, more importantly, the way it "died" or flopped?

If HK-47 and GLaDOS had a child, the character they create would cause the video game world to overdose on awesome. -sheridanmovieguy: Dragon age forum user.

I'm sure you could do the same thing with available free software without spending the $ on it.
