:confused: Ive just installed mohaa and every time i try and play it i get so far and i hear a click and it justs frezzes
im pretty much a novice on pc,s so try and explain in idiot terms please

system
amd athlon 1.2
256mb
ge force2 256
not sure on the sound card
running xp pro

any suggestions gratefully recieved

it changes about 4 to 5 mins into the game roughly

Is it the game that freezes or the whole computer ?

its the whole computer i have to do a total reboot

If it is the whole computer that freezes, it may be the same problem myself and others are having. There is a whole thread with some help that was given to me. So far I haven't "cured" the problem but, it doesn't happen as often now. Just waiting on the right answer. The thread is here http://www.xp-erience.org/forum/show...&threadid=4885

Now, Everyone is going to say I'm barking mad here but,

How far away from your soundcard is your graphics card ? If there is no slot between the two, then your graphics card could be cooking your sound card. Hence the lockup.

It might help to ensure you have the latest patch for MOHAA. I obtained mine via Gamespy!
