Angry Duke Nukem runs REALLY slowly

I grabbed the Duke Nukem demo from another thread in this forum. I think it's a great game, but it runs WAY to slowly on my computer.(1000MHz Athlon T-Bird, GF-2MX, 512MB ram)

Another thing is that the game speeds up when there are few objects in view. I tried running the game in compatibility mode, but it didn't work any better.

if you mean the new demo it's because of your GeforceMX....MX's are on the way out I hate to say, they can't run the next gen and even some current Gen games at acceptable framerates especially if you go above 1024x768

The reason it runs faster when less stuff is in view is because it doesn't have to draw as much....try running serious sam 2 and watch how bad it gets when all the monsters swarm in, sorry man

Yeah, I know. Scierously concidering buying GF3 or GF4, but my wallet is too thin at the moment.

But I was talking about the CLASSIC Duke Nukem. Can't understand why that lags
