GTA3 RAM Problems

Hi all,

A friend of mine has bought Grand Theft Auto 3, and he runs 64mb SDRAM.

Now, here's the problem. The game becomes really jerky, which I predicted it would.

However it actually crashes the computer.

The useless people on Support Line said he needs an upgrade on the whole computer. Nope.

Any comments/opinions?

indeed!
1.5 GH+256ram is not enough with me!
besides you need a good 3d card such as G-Force 3 and so on.
download the latest patch to update GTA3 to ver. 1.1
don't set up everything too high. 88x600 res is ok with 32 MB.

Sounds like my ATI Radeon 9700 Pro that I'm getting will work with it (I'm so excited) so I'll have to borrow the game!

1.7 athlon, 768mb DDR, 128mb on Ti4400. Game is butta.
